Hi,
just got Steve Tinti, an experienced tsunami modeller
from Italy and the Mediterranean to join ( look him up
under Stefano Tinti, steve is his nickname ))
I have known Steve since 1982, he has a soild fluid
dynamics background and worked with the Meterological Services in England
He has over 80 publications in tsunamis and is well-versed in analytical
and numerical methods ( I rate him the best in geophysics in this area, he
also is very good in computer technology )
so together with the help of Enzo Boschi and the Istituto di Geofisica
in Roma. We have got the Mediterranean covered.
